In the 1930's this building served as a neighborhood grocery store. In 1984 it was repurposed as a local dive and renamed "The Boose"

It was known to have "the coldest beer in town," which was absolutely a lie. Parking was a game of tow-car roulette. There was a pool table with crooked sticks. It's become exactly the place for alternative and friendly folks to hang out for a cheap drink.

Like many other bars on the strip, it closed in 2017.

However, it's been lovingly rejuvenated and is once again serving as a sweet little spot for locals.
